New Website in Production

My new website is currently being designed by Front Row. The website will serve as my home base and will allow fans to keep up with all the news and updates related to my music. The site will include a customer video and music player.


The site design should be done by the end of this month and the coding should begin in early February. Of course a website launch party will be announced. Stay Tuned!

Networking at Go! Wednesdays

   The second Wednesday and last Wednesday of the month, Ole Lounge will host Chicago's premiere entertainment industry networking event.  The event will allow serious, industry professionals to come together and build their contact lists for the entertainment industry.


Tickets to the event will be sold in a limited quantity.  They will be priced at $15 a ticket and an RSVP that will guarantee entry into both the event and the after party.

Manny Baez Collaborating with Yalte

   I am linking up with reggaeton artist Yalte to bring to you a new song reminiscent of 80's freestyle music.  The track was sent to me from VA by Chilom Ent.  Yalte is from Cayey, Puerto Rico and is a young and talented singer/rapper/songwriter.   We are setting up the recording session to knock this track fuera del parque!  Look out for the release by the end of this month.

Bears and Packers Facing Off For NFC Championship a Possibility?

   I love football and am excited to see how my Bears are gonna match up against the Seattle Peacocks I mean Seahawks, lol.  It's about time the Bears make it to the playoffs.  Now what I am interested in seeing is if the Green Bay Packers can pull off the upset over the number 1 seeded Atlanta Falcons.  This would mean that if the Bears win and the Packers win, we will have an ultimate showdown of the oldest rivalry in football for the NFC Championship!...All I can say is go BEARS!  If your planning on going to that show down you better start scooping out the change from under your couch cushions and emptying your savings accounts because that will be one expensive game to attend.

Titles for Mixtapes Announced!

   I am working on two mixtapes to be released for free to the public this spring.  One mixtape will be in English and the Second one will be in Spanish.  The English mixtape will be called "Prohibition Era."  The title was inspired by my alter ego's name, Mr. Moonshine.   The Spanish mixtape will be called "La Quinta Estrella" and is named after the record label I am forming, Fifth Star Ent.  This project will be a reggaeton and hip hop mixtape.
